Al Foah Mall welcomes new brands

Al Foah MallAl Ain based Al Foah Mall has added three new brands – including Gelato Divino, Moodgood Restaurant and Ruby Salon and Spa – to enhance the shopping experience.

Gelato Divino offers premium quality ice-cream made the Italian way, complete with fresh and natural ingredients. It was originally a small family-owned ice-cream shop in Italian town of Alba, which became internationally famous since the first expansion outside of Italy started in 2009 in the UAE.

Moodgood Restaurant, which will open this month, serves wholesome Yemeni and Emirati cuisines. Its specialties include madghut, a flavourful rice and meat dish as well as kunafa with cream or cheese. Ruby Salon is an organic full-service salon and spa for men offering a variety of services from facials to massages.

Sharjah Summer Promotions begins on Sunday offering up to 75 per cent off

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) is launching the Sharjah Summer Promotions 2019 on July 14.

Being held under the umbrella of the Sharjah Summer Festival, with a strategic partnership with the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority,

This year’s edition is filled with attractive events and exciting discounts up to 75 per cent on all products, as well as valuable prizes and competitive deals.

The 49-day mega event will also feature a variety of recreational activities until September 1. For the first time, the SCCI has launched a contest through its social media platforms, where winners will be announced daily and given attractive prizes.

Scandinavian Fashion Brand Monki makes UAE debut at Yas Mall

MonkiScandinavian women’s fashion brand, Monki has officially opened its doors at Yas Mall. In partnership with Alshaya, this is the brand’s very first stores to open in the UAE. Fashionistas visiting the capital can now pick up the latest of the brand’s Scandi-cool and Asian-street style collections.

Located on the ground floor of Yas Mall, the new Monki store is designed with the characteristic Monki World flair, adding yet another unique fashion offering to Yas Mall’s existing international brands.

Carrefour to open in Jawad Dome

CarrefourCarrefour Hypermarket by Majid Al Futtaim, will be opening its new hypermarket outlet in Barbar’s iconic Jawad Dome. The opening marks Carrefour’s 8th hypermarket and 13th store in Bahrain overall.

Free from single-use plastic bags at cash counters, the branch will offer cassava-based alternatives which are bio-degradable in months, contain no petroleum element and are non-GMO certified.

Strategically located off the Budaiya Highway, Jawad Dome is highly regarded by residents of surrounding neighbourhoods, many of whom have visited the mall for generations over the course of its rich 39-year history.

With construction work underway, Carrefour intends to open the hypermarket ahead of the back-to-school season, providing residents with a onestop-shop to purchase their essentials in time for the upcoming academic year.

Splash now open in Al Wahda Mall

High street fashion brand Splash – part of retail conglomerate Landmark Group – is now open in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wahda Mall. Spanning approximately 14,000 sqft, the Splash store is located on the first floor of Al Wahda Mall extension, next to H&M.

Abu Dhabi’s first Kinokuniya to open at The Galleria Al Maryah Island

Japanese bookstore chain, Kinokuniya Bookstore will open its first location in Abu Dhabi at The Galleria Al Maryah Island next year.

Since Kinokuniya Bookstore first opened in Tokyo in 1927, it has become a beloved brand across the world with flagship stores from as far afield as New York and San Francisco to Sydney and Kuala Lumpur. The brand was established in the UAE at The Dubai Mall towards the end of 2008, and in spring 2020 Kinokuniya will open in Abu Dhabi.
